This may be a picture over-load here, but I have some catching up to do. It's going to be a lot more pictures of Jackson than of Clayton because I already posted most of the ones of Clayton on his birthday post a few weeks ago.
So here we go: September...
Pirates took over our house for a while...
The library does few weeks of story time and then a few weeks of "project time" where you go and do a little craft on your own. I'd prefer story time all the time, but that's ok. Here Jackson is coloring a picture of himself that was to go on a wall around a big map of the world.
...he does have eyes and a nose, they are just really light.
Story time with Daddy. I'm not sure why there is a chair in the middle of the room...
Playing with slime
Jackson decided he was a cow and wore his Sunday socks on his hands to eat dinner.
"Mom, take my picture!" is a common thing to hear around here.
We were going to go to Daddy's work to have lunch with him. Jackson took care of packing the picnic: carrots, ranch, and a jar of baby food. I might have added a few things to the menu.
And here's Daddy at work:
Playing and making letters on the driveway with squirt bottles
I had this chunk of pool noodle left over from a wreath I made so we used it to make pictures by drawing on it with washable markers and then rolling it on the paper. I think more ink got on Jackson's hands than the paper, but hey, it was washable.
Look at that concentration!
Boys in a box
I love to watch them have fun together! Jackson takes such good care of his little brother and Clayton loves to watch and copy Jackson.
"Look mom, I made a dress!" ...using a whole roll of paper towels.
Our Relief Society after the RS Broadcast... there really are a lot more younger folks too, but they weren't there that night. It's been great to get to know these ladies.
I promise my kids wear clothes sometimes...
Jack was gone to Indiana for a week to be a fill-in for the HR Manager at a Kellogg's plant, then was home for a few days and then was gone again for five days to Utah for BYU recruiting and then visiting family. I guess he felt a little guilty so he sent me these pretty flowers :) He loves me.
Enjoying a beautiful day at the park
Enough pictures for ya? I'll do a separate post of the children's museum we went to, but that just gives you a glimpse into our lives. We're pretty exciting people, lemme tell ya.

pictures are easier to get caught up with than paragraphs, so don't feel bad. : )
