Jackson turned 2!

...Five months ago.

Since this little guy loves trains so much, we did a train themed birthday party. I had great visions in my head of what this cake was going to look like, and it didn't really go exactly as planned. Of course I didn't allow enough time to get everything done and we had several other things going on that day. We'd only been back from Ohio for less than a week, didn't really have our new house set up yet, and were trying to spend time with my parents who were in town for a few more days. But it all ended up working out ok in the end... just don't look at the other side of the cake.

Jackson had fun opening his presents---books, Mr. Potato Head, and a train set were some of the favorites.

Poor boy was soooo tired, he fell asleep eating his ice cream cone!
We sure love our little guy and are so happy to have him in our family! Two years sure goes by quickly!

Jackson's cake turned out sooo very cute! I was amazed at all you were able to accomplish after just barely getting back from Ohio. We were thrilled to be able to be a part of his fun birthday.
We love you Jackson!!!
