We went today for my first appointment---it went really well, except for the drawing blood part. I was a big girl and they didn't have to hold me down, but yes, I did cry. The whole time. But they gave me 3 stickers for being a good girl during it! They did the ultra sound and it was sooo cool! We saw the baby moving around and heard the heartbeat and everything. It was amazing! The other part of the exam was a little less amazing, but what would you expect? The Dr. was nice. Everything looked good and I'm really excited! They said the baby was measuring with a due date of Aug 10 (2 days sooner than I had calculated).
Life is pretty exciting right now, even if I am tired and blah all the time. They say that I'll have a little more energy and a little less yuckyness soon. That'll be nice. I haven't thrown up, and I won't throw up. I haven't since I was 4, so why start now? I sure have felt like it sometimes, but it doesn't happen.
I'll post belly pictures and other news as things progress, but right now there's not a whole lot to see. Stay tuned!

That baby looks pretty alien-like right now. It's a good thing they don't come out now! I'm sure your baby will be soo cute when it is born!
I can't believe you haven't thrown up! I wish I had gag reflexes of steel like you. I will likely be very pukey.
Pukey is a gross word and apparently it is misspelled.

I'm glad you have finally posted this EXCITING NEWS!! Yeah, I'm going to be a GRANDMA!! :) Now I can share our excitement around here...Yippee!! Congratulations Natalie & Jack!
