Every time I unload the dishwasher, I take an inventory and count the dishes. It isn't really on purpose and I don't notice that I'm doing it at first, but I do it.I have never shoveled snow. I attribute this to a) growing up in Georgia where there was no snow to shovel...and no snow shovels; and b) a wonderful husband who does this and cleans off my car too.
I only cut my hair about once a year...not on purpose. I just don't do it very often. It is time again, but I don't know where to get it done or how I want it. Any suggestions?I always double-knot my shoes. I don't know why.
I'm a coupon-clipper and price-matcher. I delight in saving money and enjoy keeping track of our budget.
I've had several people tell me that before they got to know me, they thought I was mean or snooty because I was quiet. I guess that's something I should work on!
I leave cupboard doors open and my toothbrush on the side of the sink. And Jack still loves me.
I only chew half a piece of gum at a time.
I enjoy
reading, but kind of go through phases of reading and then not.I hate scary movies and VERY rarely watch them. If I do, I'll have nightmares about it.
I always lock the door when I'm home.
I've never gotten a ticket or been the driver in a car accident.
I decided the other day that I really like the color of fresh purple cabbage. Not that I'd paint a wall that color or anything, but I think it is really pretty.
I like to sew.
I like to be organized, though I'm not always.
I'm a list maker. Without a list, I inevitably forget something I need at the store or don't pack something important for a trip. I like to make "to do" lists to check off tasks as I accomplish them. Sometimes I write things I've already done so I can feel like I've accomplished even more.I love playing games. Board games & card games. I hate video games and think for the most part, they are a big waste of time.
I have been to 27 states (not counting places where I never left the airport).

Hey Natalie,
That was a really informative and fun post! You learn something new everyday, and today, I learned about you! Hooray!
If you don't mind driving to Payson, there is a lady here that does a hair cut for around $6-8, I can't remember the exact number, but she'll do any length for that price. If you want color, she'll do as much color, or as many as you want plus a haircut for $45. That beat all of the others around here. In fact, I need to give her a call! Her salon is in her home and it's called "Impressions". If you can't find it in the phone book, and you're interested, I'll email you her number. :)
Very cute- my friend Elise cuts mine and Amy's hair and now a few of my other friends go to her. Her salon is in North Orem/South Lindon on state street. Right by the Allens and Wells Fargo if you know where that is at.
She charges 15 or 20 bucks which is really good for a great salon cut. Haircut and color is 45 or 50. Let me know if you want her number too.
ha ha that was fun to read about you. No wonder you love being around me so much, I love to talk!!!
I'd best begin by saying this is Becky, not Brady...
I was going to tell you which things you and I have in common, but there grew too be too many things as I read on, and I can't remember them all. That must be why we are friends (because we have a lot in common...)
I need to get my hair cut too (I go about twice a year, on average, so this is something we don't quite have in common...) If you'd like to go on a hair cutting date to the Paul Mitchell place, let me know. (Again, this is Becky, Brady is not asking you on a hair cutting date, just to clarify :)
I to only chew half a piece of gun at a time and my husband thinks i am weird! LOL! I will have to tell him there are others like me!
i heard about the "open cupboards" thing from you roommates at your wedding.
as for the "snooty and rude", i never noticed that, but that's probably because i was living with jack when i met you, and all i heard was how great you were.
I thought I was the only one that only chewed a half of a piece of gum at a time! Who knew?
You certainly didn't get the open cupboard thing from your mother, I think it bugs all of us if a cupboard is left open. Marty will do it on purpose to bug grama & I & to see who will close it first.
I loved learning all that stuff about you. I write things that I've already done so I can check them off too!
what an enjoyable post! you're awesome.
Natalie I miss you a ton and reading your blog makes me miss you even more. Did we become friends because I talk a lot. Hmmm...never thought about that before. You seem to talk plenty to me...
