We went to Jackson's Meet the Teacher thing at his preschool last Friday morning. I had paid his tuition the evening before in the dropbox when I went for the parent's night. When we introduced ourselves to the teacher, she said, "Oh, I have your tuition check here for you to fix for me...You wrote March on the check."
Me: Oh? Did I? Ha ha (...then thinking to myself...March? It isn't March? Is it really April already? What month IS it?!?)
Teacher: Hmm, I thought it was in this stack...let me check over here...
Me: Sure, no problem. (Whew! More time to think. What the heck? What MONTH is it if it isn't March?! I CANNOT ask the teacher what month it is! Come on, brain!)
Teacher: Oh, here it is. You can just cross out March and write in the month.
Me: Ok, sure. (think. think think. think. What month are we in? Ahhhh!!! Ah ha! I think I've got it!) Um, it's August, right?

this is awesome.
...and i think it's understandable that you've got march on your mind. ; )
Don't worry, I have the same problem sometimes. I was talking to my cousin and her husband several weeks ago and they said something would happen in November. I spaced it too and actually had to asked, "What month is it now?" It was June. Right. Because sometimes I completely forget in conversation and can't remember if it's May or September, even though that should be obvious. So, you're not alone, as crazy as it sounds. Thanks for making me feel better! We'll blame it on this thing called pregnancy :)
I guess it was just barely still August when you were at his school. It's September now!
That was funny! Glad she didn't ask you to come to preschool to learn the months. ;)
Actually, I have had that happen to me once too.
I agree with Becky--blame it on pregnancy brain.
