laying happily by the front door. He brought me one of Jack's shoes and did the "uhh uhh uhh" grunty sound that means he wants something. So I put the shoe on my foot. Not what he wanted. I put the shoe on his foot. Not what he wanted. I looked over to where he had been playing and he had about 5 pair of shoes all matched up with their mates (they're usually just kind if in a pile), but the shoe he brought me was mate-less. I found the other one and gave it to him and he was so excited! He yelled, "TWO! two! two!" as he carried both shoes over to the door and matched them up like the others.
