He got up with Jackson in the morning so that I could sleep in until about 8:00. It was great! He's actually done that a few days this week and I sure have appreciated it! Jack and Jackson made waffles for breakfast, we took our time getting ready, and then we went to a fun little pumpkin patch in Springville called Jaker's Pumpkins.
It was a pretty small little place, but it was free and we all had fun.
There was a little hay maze that we went through...
And a big hay pyramid thing...
Jackson had fun feeding and petting the animals... goats, sheep, a donkey, a llama, and a kangaroo.
Playing in the big corn box
This is how Clayton spent most of the outing:
After the pumpkin patch, we stopped by the cemetary that was right there and found some of Jack's ancestors. We had a picnic with Enos Curtis.
It was so peaceful and pretty to sit there and watch the golden leaves blowing through the air.
Jackson fell asleep in the car on the way home and didn't stay asleep when we brought him in, which meant way too short of a nap. Bummer. But Daddy took him running errands and he had lots of fun. They went to the library and got some books...
I was in the basement sewing when they got home. Jackson came downstairs with a great big grin and handed me these:
Happy Epiphany Day to Jack and me! It has now been 4 years since we started dating for the second time. My sweet boys brought me some flowers to commemorate.
It was just a wonderful day spent with my wonderful little family!

I loved the pumpkin farm pictures-especially the one of Jackson copying Jack with the piece of hay in his mouth. :)What a fun day!
I have to say this post make me blink back the tears. I just feel so happy and blessed knowing that you love each other so much! What more could a parent want?
it's not an outing with jack unless you visit a cemetery!
i feel old when i look at my friends' kids and exclaim how old they're getting....

Those are really good pictures. Did you take them on your new camera? They look like they are from a fancy camera. Cute family!
Dude, that cemetery is right next to my house, we go on walks through there all the time! Next time stop my for a visit.
What a beautiful family on a beautiful fall day! Sounds like the perfect Friday.
With your hair up, big earrings and glasses on your head, you look like Jordan in a couple of the pictures.
That new baby sure is cute. :)

That is the BEST title for a day I've ever heard. =]
